INSTALLATION of an EXPERT for FXLite TRADER 4

To install an expert, please follow these steps:

1. Copy the expert file (*.mq4 or *.ex4) into the experts directory. These files must be in the correct directory in order to distinguish them from personal indicators, functions, etc. The experts directory is generally: c:\program files\FXLite Trader 4\experts\

2. Once the file is correctly copied, open FXLite Trader 4. You should see the new expert in the list of available experts.

3. Drag the expert from the browser to the chosen graph. The next window appears, allowing you to configure the expert:

To activate automated trading, check the box “Authorize Direct Trading” in the window that appears. Check the box “Request manual confirmation” if you wish to confirm the trades before they are made.Once it is configured, validate it by clicking on “OK.”

4. Verify the activation of the expert:
- Happy face: active expert
- "x": Inactive expert
- Sad face: expert not activated for automatic trading

Caution

If the expert is not active, verify that the experts are activated in the platform:
Click on the “Tools” menu, then “Options.” Select the “Consultant Expert” tab and verify that “Authorize Consultant Expert” is checked.
